The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States and Canada. The SAT is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States. SAT is intended to measure literacy, numeracy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college.



Why take the test?

SAT is required to be taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools. SAT exam has been developed to test the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates. Applicants who aspire to pursue undergraduate courses, particularly in the US and Canada, are required to take the SAT exam. Apart from this, many schools also offer SAT scholarship money to students based on their SAT results.

Date and Frequency The SAT exam is held 6 times a year
Center and Admit Card The SAT exam is offered multiple times throughout the year across 30 cities in India. Admit hall ticket must be downloaded and brought by the candidate on test date.
Result SAT scores for any test date during the school year are almost always available 2–4 weeks after you take the test. You'll get an email when your SAT scores are available online. If you don’t have an online account, you'll be sent a paper score report.
Score Reporting You can send your Official Score Report to up to four programs for free that you select at the test center prior to the start of your SAT exam. The College Board sends your SAT scores to your chosen colleges within 10 days of when you receive all your SAT scores.

About Test

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the most popular English language test. It measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work in locations where English is used to communicate. Some major countries that accept IELTS are the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. The test assesses one’s listening, reading, writing, and speaking abilities in less than three hours. There are two types of IELTS: Academic and General Training. Listening and Speaking are the same for both tests, but the subject matter of the Reading and Writing sections differs depending on which test you take. The Listening, Reading and Writing sections of all IELTS tests are completed on the same day, with no breaks between them. The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

General Facts

Date and Frequency IELTS test dates are offered upto 4 times in a month making a total of 48 fixed test dates in one calendar year. The availability of IELTS dates in India may differ for the Academic and General Training module.
Center and Admit Card The IELTS Exam is offered across more than 50 test city locations in India. There is no admit card provided for IELTS.
Result IELTS Exam results are released 13 calendar days after the test for the paper based and 5-7 calendar days for computer based test. The candidate will receive only ONE original Test Report Form (TRF).
Score Reporting A candidate may request up to 5 additional TRFs to be sent to Receiving Institutions (universities, professional bodies, etc) within 1 month of taking the IELTS test. TRFs sent by courier will be sent through DHL and students will be charged accordingly. If the Receiving Institution accepts electronic submission of scores then that can be arranged through the IDP IELTS office at no charge.

The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. It evaluates how well you combine your reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills to perform academic tasks. TOEFL is conducted by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is widely accepted by over 11,500 universities and academic institutions in more than 106 countries, such as the U.S., the U.K., New Zealand, Canada, Australia, and across Asia and Europe. General Facts

Date and Frequency The TOEFL test has over 50 test dates per year at authorized test centers around the world. You can retake the test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 3-day period. If you already have a test appointment, you cannot register for another test date that is within 3 days of your existing appointment. The registration fee is due each time you register for a test date.
Center and Admit Card The TOEFL iBT test, administered via the internet, is offered more than 50 times a year at authorized test centers around the world. There is no admit card provided.
Result You can view your scores online or via the TOEFL official app, approximately 6 days after you take the test.
Score Reporting Your test fee includes up to 4 free official TOEFL score reports to be sent to the TOEFL Destinations that you select before you take the test. Official score reports will be sent to your designated recipients within 11 days after you take the test.
