Job Description


Globedock Educational Consultancy is looking for a Part-Timer Highschool Teacher passionate about teaching students and impacting outcomes. This is a position that requires active teaching. To qualify for this position, you should be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to teach and explain and prepare lesson plans and sessions for grade 11 and 12 students.

  1. Assist the student's learning progress through communication, Preparing resources, and utilizing educational materials such as boards, documents, and visual presentations depending on the course content.
  2. A teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students
  3. Teachers must be able to instruct subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans.
  4. Guide students through one or more online learning experiences

An ideal candidate should:


  1. Have a passion for teaching and creating an impact in the field of education
  2. Have a strong subject knowledge in Maths/Natual Science/Social Science for grades 5 to 12
  3. Impeccable communication skills (English) – verbal and written camera-facing skills
  4. Be able to teach in English & Amharic
  5. Be able to map theoretical knowledge to practical applications
  6. Be a self-driven quick learner and show adaptability to new concepts and tools
  7. The show demonstrated the ability to multi-task and think creatively
  8. Be able to make learning easy for students from different backgrounds and of different cognitive abilities


Qualification and Requirement

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university(University Students can also apply)
  2. Work Experience: 0 to 10 years
  3. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written ones
  4. Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
  6. Strong organizational and time-management abilities
